Danson Park

Danson Park (Grid reference:{{mmukpc prim|TQ472752| TQ 4775}}) is located in Welling, part of the London Borough of Bexley, and is the largest public park in the borough. One of the most important parks in the north-west Kent area, it is popular with the local population.

The landscape was designed and laid out by Nathaniel Richmond, assistant to Capability Brown from 1761 to 1763. At its centre is a large and picturesque 12 acre (49,000 m²) lake to the south of Danson House.
