Daniel Jackson (ship)

The Daniel Jackson is a fictional Asgard starship in the science fiction television series Stargate SG-1. It is commanded by Thor, the Supreme Commander of the Asgard fleet, and was named in honour of SG-1 member Dr. Daniel Jackson, with whom Thor has developed a friendship since they first met in 1998. It was introduced in the Stargate SG-1 Season Eight premiere "New Order (Part 1)" but was not given a name until "New Order (Part 2)".

Several months later, while in orbit of Earth, the vessel came under attack from a Replicator-controlled Goa'uld mothership. Thor was severely injured in the battle and was forced to download his consciousness into the vessel's database. Fortunately, the vessel was not destroyed and its commander's mind was subsequently transferred to a new clone body.
