Daniel F. Galouye


 

Daniel F. Galouye (1920-1976) was an American science fiction writer. He wrote several stories for pulp magazines in the 1940's and 1950's. He mostly wrote for the lower quality magazines but did have a loyal following for a brief period. He also wrote several novels, notably Simulacron Three, basis of the movie The Thirteenth Floor and a German TV miniseries, Welt am Draht. Galouye was born in New Orleans on February 11th, 1920, and died on September 7th, 1976, also in New Orleans.
