Dance with a Stranger

Dance With A Stranger is a norwegian folk band from Trondheim and they were well known not only in Norway but in the rest of the world. Their vocalist Øyvind Elgnes nicknamed "Elg" has been very famous through the years because his very long hair style.

The group recorded their first album in 1987 as selftitled.

And in 1989 they released their second album which was named 2.

And their final album was released in 1998 with the title Happy Sounds. There after Frode Alnæs and Elg started solo careers.

Øyvind Elgnes was also the lead vocalist together with Prepple Houmb on the song by Racer, Bønda fra nord.

The group broke up in 1994.
