Dana Beal

Dana Beal is a long-time NYC-based activist who created the "Rock Against Racism" concerts and organizes the Million Marijuana March on the first Saturday of May every year in New York City. This event now takes place in hundreds of cities around the world in addition to NYC, where it began about 30 years ago. Dana has been working for the legalization of marijuana and other issues since at least the mid 60s, and is particularly known for his association with the Yippies.
