Dan Marsh was a professional wrestling referee and a professional wrestler most famous as Danny Davis of the World Wrestling Federation.

Dan Marsh started out in 1982 in the World Wrestling Federation as referee Danny Davis and sometimes wrestled under a mask as the jobber Mr. X.

In 1986, Davis started helping the heels to win their matches. He was blatantly for The Hart Foundation in early 1987 during a match for the WWF World Tag Team Titles in which he ignored pinfalls by The British Bulldogs and allowed a double team in which he made the three count for the Hart Foundation.
