~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Fogelberg was a session musician who played with pop-folk artists like Van Morrison before his 1974 album Souvenirs and the hit song "Part of the Plan" made him a major star. He toured with groups like The Eagles, but his popularity peaked in the early 1980s. Fogelberg has released albums influenced by sources as diverse as classical, jazz, and bluegrass music.
