Dain City, Ontario

Dain City is a small suburb located at the southern-most part of Welland, Ontario, Canada. At one time, it was a mostly self-contained rural community at the junction of two significant rail lines, part of the Township of Humberstone, and was called Welland Junction. The name was changed to Dain City after it was annexed to the city of Welland in the mid-1950s. Dain City was built for, and by, the Dain Manufacturing Company ( Now known as John Deere ), the main employer in the area, as a "company town".

Dain Clay

Dain Elmer Clay was a Major League Baseball player. He played for the Cincinnati Reds of the National League. Clay was born on July 10, 1919 in Hicksville, Ohio and played collegiately at Kent State University in 1943. He played in four seasons with the Reds, from to . In , Clay led the National League in at-bats, 656, and was sixth in games played, with 153. Clay was a .258 career hitter. He died on August 28, 1996 in Chula Vista, California. He was survived by his wife Alice.

RBC Plaza is a 539-ft (164 m) tall skyscraper in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It was completed in 1992 and has 40 floors. The Gaviidae Common Shopping Center occupies the lower floors of the building.
