~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Dagbladet is published seven days a week. Dagbladet was founded in 1869 and its format was changed to tabloid in 1983. For a number of years Dagbladet has had a leading role within development of new editorial products in Norway. In 1990, the newspaper was the first in Norway to publish a Sunday edition in more than 70 years, and it was also the first of the major Norwegian newspapers with its own Internet web site in 1995. Over the past few years Dagbladet has had great success with Magasinet as part of the Saturday edition, both among the readers and advertisers. Magasinet has a reader coverage of approximately 26% of the adult population of Norway. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ It also runs Norway's largest website (Dagbladet.no), being slightly larger than Verdens Gang. The paper got online 8 March 1995, and is the oldest one still alive in Norway. By November 2004 it had 4.28 million monthly unique visitors and 273 million page impressions, according to the official numbers measured by TNS Gallup. The online edition is owned by the company DB Medialab AS.
