Cyrus the Great
Cyrus II of Persia, widely known as Cyrus the Great or Cyrus the Elder, (ca. 576 – July 529 BC) founded the Persian Empire under the Achaemenid Dynasty of Anshan by unifying two Iranian tribes: the Medes and the Persians.
