Cwmaman
Cwmaman is a former pit village near Aberdare. The town was funded in 1995 around the Welsh band, The Stereophonics. Founded by Kelly Jones, Richard Jones (not realated) and Stuart Cable. The story goes that Kelly wanted a place to practice their rock music without being interrupted. The plan was a great success, so much a new town rose from his idea. Kelly, Richard and Stuart build a little shed, now known as "Foundation Shed" on a hill, now overlooking the town. Kelly, Richard and Stuart were in charge of running the town, lot sales and other minor issues regarding the town buildup. Stuart passed away last year, already separated from his chilhood friends, due to lack of commitment.
