Curt Siodmak

Curt Siodmak (1907–2000) was the author of Donovan's Brain. He was born in Germany, but emigrated to the United States in order to escape the rise of Nazism. He wrote screenplays for several Hollywood films, including Earth vs. the Flying Saucers, I walked with a Zombie, and Wolf Man.
