Crows Nest, New South Wales

Crows Nest is a suburb approximately five kilometres north of downtown Sydney, New South Wales, on the lower North Shore. It is shared between the municipalities of North Sydney, Willoughby and Lane Cove.

Crows Nest today

Today the suburb houses a significant commercial district—noted for its varied shoppes and restaurants—located at the junction of five main roads on the highest point of elevation in Crows Nest, about 1km north by northwest of the original site of Crows Nest House. The gates of Crows Nest House still stand at the Pacific Highway entrance to North Sydney Demonstration School.
