Cresta Run

The Cresta Run is a 1214 m long run near the Swiss winter sports town of St. Moritz. It is used for the sleighing sport of tobogganing which is similar to another sport called skeleton. Skeleton, however, is held on the bobsleigh track across the road along with lugeing.

The run is made of natural ice, and was first constructed in January 1885. It is named for the tiny hamlet of Cresta, which is located along the course.

It is controlled by the British-based St. Moritz Tobogganing Club.
