Creighton University

Creighton University, founded in 1878, is a Jesuit-Catholic college located in Omaha, Nebraska. Sitting on a 108-acre campus near just outside Omaha's downtown business district, it currently enrolls about 6,700 students. The current president is Rev. John P. Schlegel, S.J.

Demographics

Creighton's total enrollment is about 6,700, with 3,888 udergraduates. The enrollment is about 40 percent male and 60 percent female. About 56 percent of the students are from outside of Nebraska. Of the student body, 83 percent is Caucasian, 7 percent is Asian, 3 percent African-American, 3 percent Hispanic, and 1 percent American Indian. Out of the school's freshman class, 60 percent graduate in 4 years, and 70 percent graduate in 6 years.
