Known for his dynamic style, Dollar started his ministry in 1986 with eight people, and now has a congregation of 23,500. His "Changing Your World" television program is seen both in the United States and internationally. His church is located in one of the poorest suburbs of Atlanta, and he has encouraged many in his congregation to experience freedom from financial problems through generous and unselfish donations.
