Cranbrook Airport
Cranbrook Airport (IATA Airport Code: YXC; ICAO Airport Code: CYXC) is a small regional airport located about 15 kilometers north of Cranbrook, British Columbia and 20 kilometers south-east of Kimberley, British Columbia. It is owned and operated by the City of Cranbrook and YVRAS (Vancouver Airport Services). Runway 16/34 is a 6,000-foot long, 150-foot wide paved runway, and is currently the only runway at the airport. In 2004, YXC served around 81,000 passengers and had about 13,000 aircraft movements.
