Cradle of Coaches
The Crade of Coaches is a nickname given to Miami University in Oxford, Ohio for producing star football coaches beginning in 1944 with Earl Blaik and including, Paul Brown, Woody Hayes, Bill Arnsparger, Weeb Ewbank, Sid Gillman, Ara Parseghian, Bo Schembechler, John Pont, Bill Mallory, Jim Tressel, and Terry Hoeppner. Miami University fields a Division 1-A football program in the Mid-American Conference (MAC).
