Covington, Kentucky
Covington is a city located in Kenton County, Kentucky. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 43,370; it is the fifth-most-populous city in Kentucky http://travel.ky.gov/facts_poplulations.aspx. Covington is located at the confluence of the Ohio and Licking Rivers.
Famous People
At the St. Elizabeth Hospital on November 7, 1970 died from a stroke the worldwide famous banjo player Eddie Peabody, after collapsing on stage the evening before at the Lookout House located nearby across the Ohio River.
