Courtney Murphy

Courtney Murphy was a contestant in the 2004 season of the Australian reality television series Australian Idol. He is 24 years of age, and his home town is Perth in Western Australia. His favourite type of music is power pop, and his music idol is Sir Paul McCartney. He was eliminated from the competition following the program on 8 November 2004 after making it to the final stage.

Courtney will be releasing his debut solo album before the end of the year. His Official Website address is http://www.courtneymurphymp3.com Courtney played the part of "Roger" a "T'Bird" in the Grease Arena Spectacular which toured Australia from May through June 2005. He sang "Mooning" which brought him standing ovations from the audience and almost lifted the roof with his powerful rendition. Totally amazing and the video clip can be viewed on the website.

Courtney will be appearing on the ABC show "Spicks 'n Specks" on 10th August and has a number of other offers in the pipeline.
