Countess of Walsingham
Melusina, (1693-1778), was the illegitimate daughter of King George I of Great Britain and his long-term mistress Melusine.

In 1722 Melusina was created Countess of Walsingham in her own right.

In 1733 she married the Earl of Chesterfield, a leading Whig politician. She died childless, and so her peerage became extinct upon her death.
