Corbin, Kentucky
Corbin is a city located in Kentucky. Most of the city is in Whitley County, Kentucky; parts also extend into Knox County. The urbanized area around Corbin also extends into in Laurel County, although the incorporated city limits do not enter Laurel. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 7,742. It is home to the Kentucky Fried Chicken Museum.
Geography
The name Corbin is derived from Latin "corvus" meaning "raven" (compare French "corbeau"). Corbin is located at 36°56'30" North, 84°5'44" West (36.941575, -84.095510){{GR|1}}.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 19.2 km² (7.4 mi²). None of the area is covered with water.
