Coppet
Coppet is a village in the Nyon district of Vaud Canton in Switzerland. It is on the north shore of the Lake of Geneva and is in the part of Switzerland known as the Terre Sainte. It is celebrated as the abode of Madame de Stael, her burial-place and that of Necker, her father. The Coppet castle was also the final home of Jacques Necker. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
