Coos Bay
Coos Bay is a small S-shaped inlet, approximately 10 mi (16 km) long and 2 mi (3 km) wide, on the Pacific Ocean coast of southwestern Oregon in the United States. The town of Coos Bay is named for the bay and is located on its inner side. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

The Coos River enters the bay from the east, descending from the Coastal Range.
