Constantine Maroulis

Constantine James Maroulis (????????????) prounounced KAHN-stan-teen muh-ROO-lis, was born on September 17, 1975 in New York. Maroulis is a Greek-American rock singer of the 2000s who was a finalist on American Idol during its fourth season. Since the age limit was raised from 24 to 28 for the fourth season, Maroulis was the oldest person to ever audition and participate on the show. Throughout the entire season, he and Bo Bice were nicknamed "the two rockers" since their long hair and the songs they used in the competition made them stand out from the softer, more pop-oriented melodies as well as the more conservative images of previous and contemporary contestants.
