Conrad Hilton, Jr


 

Conrad Nicholson Hilton, Jr. (July 6, 1926February 5, 1969), known as "Nicky", was an American heir of the Hilton Hotel chain, a business executive and TWA director.

He was born in Dallas, Texas, the eldest son of Conrad Nicholson Hilton and Mary Adelaide Barron. His father founded Hilton Hotels. His brothers are William Barron Hilton and Eric Michael Hilton. He also has a younger half-sister, Francesca Hilton, whose mother is Zsa Zsa Gabor. The celebrity sisters and heiresses, Paris Hilton and Nicky Hilton, are his grandnieces, the latter sharing his nickname.

Hilton was married twice, to actress Elizabeth Taylor (married on May 6, 1950 - divorced in 1951), who divorced him due to physical abuse, and to oil heiress Patricia "Trish" McClintock (married on November 26, 1958-divorced in 1965). He and Trish McClintock had two children, Conrad Nicholson Hilton III (born on January 29, 1960) and Michael Otis Hilton (born on June 12, 1961).

Hilton died of a heart attack in West Los Angeles, California, at the age of forty-two, probably precipitated by substance abuse. He is interred in the Holy Cross Cemetery, Culver City.
