Connecticut College

Connecticut College is a coeducational, private liberal arts college located in New London, Connecticut. Founded in 1911, it was a women's school until 1969. It is located just up Route 32 from the United States Coast Guard Academy. Across the Thames River which the college's crew and sailing teams practice on, is the city of Groton.

The Honor Code, which distinguishes Connecticut College from its peers, underpins all academic and social interactions at the College and creates a palpable spirit of trust and cooperation between students and faculty. Other benefits of the Code include the tradition of shared governance among faculty and students and self-scheduled, unproctored final exams.
