Comptroller of the Currency
The United States Comptroller of the Currency is the head of the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. The Comptroller is responsible for the sanctity of the national bank system. The holder of this office also serves as the Director of the FDIC/Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and as the director of the Neighborhood Reinvestment Corporation.
