Colón Theater
Opened in 1908, the Colón Theater in Buenos Aires, Argentina is one of the most famous opera houses in the world.

It sits right on the 9 de Julio Avenue, in the heart of the city, altough the main entrance is on Libertad street.

Built with a seating capacity of 2,500 in surroundings of classic French Renaissance style, the theatre's design features a rich scarlet and gold decor. The cupola contains frescoes painted by the renowned 20th century artist Raúl Soldi.
