Cole County, Missouri
Cole County is a county located in the state of Missouri. As of 2000, the population is 71,397. Its county seat is Jefferson City6. The county was organized in 1820 and is named after pioneer Capt. Stephen Cole, who came from Virginia in 1807 and died in 1822.
