Colchester, Ontario
Colchester is a large hamlet located in the town of Essex in Essex County in southwestern Ontario, Canada. It was first settled by American Loyalists in the late 1700s. It was a stop point for freed slaves after and during the American Civil War. Today it hosts lake side cottages and an old cemetery.
