Chuundar is a Wookie from Kashyyyk and is also Zaalbar's brother. When Zaalbar was young he attacked Chuundar with his claws making him something called a 'madclaw' (Which is forbidden to the Wookiee people) after he found out his brother was selling fellow Wookiees to slavery making him an exile. Chuundar has taken over and exiled his father. Once Darth Revan comes to Kashyyyk in search for a Star Map with Zaalbar, Chuundar imprisons Zaalbar and tells Revan to kill his and Zaalbar's father in the lower levels of the planet, and he can have Zaalbar back.

If the player kills Chuundar's and Zaalbar's father, the player leaves with the gratitude of Chuundar. Chuundar keeps enslaving the Wookiee and the player can no longer return to city. If the player spares their father, the player kills Chuundar and the slavers, frees the Wookiees, keeps Zaalbar, and leaves with the gratitude of Zaalbar's father.
