Christopher Ward
Christopher Ward is a Canadian songwriter and broadcaster, best known as a former long-standing on-air personality at MuchMusic, Canada's music video network, where he and J.D. Roberts were the first two video jockeys in 1984. He has also written many songs and performed as a musician with acts such as Alannah Myles (her chart-topping hit "Black Velvet") and Ming Tea, the celebrity rock band assembled for the first Austin Powers film to perform the faux-sixties song "BBC".

After leaving MuchMusic, he continued to make regular appearances well into the 1990s, particularly as host of the annual Fromage telecast, where he highlighted bad or cheesy videos from the previous year while dressed in a stereotypical French striped shirt and beret. In the late 1990s, Ed the Sock replaced him as host.
