Christopher Bland
Sir Francis Christopher Buchan Bland (born circa 1939), known as Christopher Bland is a British businessman and politician. He was Chairman of the Board of Governors of the BBC from 1996 to 2001, when he took up a position as Chairman of British Telecom.

He served as a Conservative Party member of the Greater London Council for Lewisham and Deptford from 1967 to 1970, and became deputy chairman of Inner London Education Authority. He was chairman of the Bow Group think tank from 1969 to 1970. In 1972 he became deputy chairman of the Independent Broadcasting Authority. Eventually he became chairman of London Weekend Television, in 1984, becoming a millionaire after the 1993 franchise renewal. He was knighted in the early 1990s for work related to the National Health Service.
