Christmas with the Kranks

Christmas with the Kranks is a 2004 comedy film produced by Revolution Studios and Columbia Pictures. It is based on the 2001 novella Skipping Christmas by John Grisham. It stars Jamie Lee Curtis and Tim Allen.

This is the fourth time that Jamie Lee Curtis and Dan Aykroyd are in a film together. They were in three previous movies together including Trading Places, My Girl and My Girl 2.

The nation's critics unanimously panned this movie, which rung up a whimpy 4% rating at Rotten Tomatoes. In one example of a harsh review, Roger Ebert and Richard Roeper gave this film "Two thumbs way way down". Ebert gave the movie one star and called it "a holiday movie of stunning awfulness" in his newspaper review.
