Christian Rosenkreuz

Christian Rosenkreuz (1378 - 1484) is the possibly legendary founder of the Rosicrucian Order. The first anonymous public document on the Rosicrucian Order is the Fama Fraternitatis Rosae Crucis which appeared in 1614 in Kassel (Germany) followed in 1615 by the Confessio Fraternitatis (issued with Fama (...)). In 1616 appears the Chymical Wedding of Christian Rosenkreutz in Strasbourg (annexed by France in 1861) which introduces for the fist time the name Christian Rosenkreutz.

According to legend, Christian Rosenkreuz discovered and learned the Secret Wisdom as a pilgrim to the East in the 15th century; founded the "Fraternity of the Rose Cross" having him (Father C.R.C.) as the Head of the Order. Under his direction a Temple, called "The Temple of the Holy Spirit", was built. His body was discovered by a Brother of the Order, in a perfect state of conservation, 120 years after his death (which occurred in absolute secrecy) - as C.R.C. had predicted - in a chamber erected by himself as a compendium of the universe.

C.R.C. body was found intact in this microcosmos chamber in 1604, the same year the last "naked eye" supernova (SN 1604) till today was observed in our galaxy Milky Way.
