Christian Olde Wolbers

Christian Olde Wolbers (born Saturday, August 5, 1972 in Antwerp, Belgium) was the second bassist of the industrial metal band Fear Factory from 1994 to 2002 when the group disbanded. He is now the guitarist of the group since Dino Cazares has decided not to rejoin after all and Strapping Young Lad bassist Byron Stroud has recovered for him on bass while reforming.

Woblers was born in Antwerp, Belgium and did not come to North America until 1993 after being in college in 1990/1991. He joined Fear Factory in 1994 after the former bassist Andrew Shives got kicked out of the group. He met the band in Los Angeles, California before joining and the line-up finally became classic when he joined to work on their second full-length recording Demanufacture, which became a highly successful album. In July 2005 Belgian newspaper Het Laatste Nieuws said Christian had a relation going on with singer Karen Damen of the Belgian group K3.
