Christian Children's Fund
Christian Children's Fund is a Christian charity that helps children who live in poverty. They also help their families and communities.
Sponsorship
CCF's main program includes donors and sponsored children. Those who sponser give $288 a year that goes to the project of the sponsored child. It is not sent directly to the child. Donors may choose to pay monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, or yearly. They are encouraged to send letters to their child, money for their birthday, and, if possible, visit their child. Packages are not allowed except to U.S. children, where CCF is based. A would-be donor selects a child from the CCF's website and is given his or her location. Then the donor is sent a package containing a picture of the child and information about them. It is required to sponsor for a year, but sponsors are encouraged to continue for as long as they can afford.
