Chris Klein (actor)

Chris Klein (born Frederick Christopher Klein on March 14 1979 in Hinsdale, Illinois) is a United States actor best known for his roles in American Pie, Election, and Here on Earth.

Klein grew up in Hinsdale, Illinois, and moved to Omaha, Nebraska, as a young teenager. As a senior in high school, Klein was offered his first professional acting job by director Alexander Payne, who was scouting Millard West High School as a potential filming location.

Klein went on to attend Texas Christian University, where he majored in Dramatic Arts.

In the middle of 2003, Klein appeared on Punk'd and looked like a fool after he was tricked by Ashton Kutcher into believing that his house had been seized by a terrorist.
