Chicago Golf Club


 

Chicago Golf Club is a prestigious private golf club in Wheaton, Illinois in the United States. It was one of the five clubs which founded the United States Golf Association in 1894. Its founder, Charles Blair Macdonald, won the first official U.S. Amateur Championship in 1895. The club has hosted four U.S. Amateur Championships and three U.S. Open's. It hosted the Walker Cup in 1928 and is due to do so again in August 2005.
