Chen Kenmin
Chen Kenmin (June 27, 1912 – May 12, 1990) was a Japanese chef of Chinese origin, also known as the father of Chen Kenichi, the Iron Chef Chinese on the television show Iron Chef. Chen Kenmin is considered the father of Chinese Szechwan cooking in Japan. He introduced "Prawns in Chili Sauce" (Gongboxiaren) and "Mapo doufu" to the island nation.
