Chelsea Football Club (also known as the Blues, previously known as the Pensioners, a reference to the Chelsea pensioners), founded in 1905, is a Premier League football team that plays at Stamford Bridge football ground in South west London.

Note: In 1954-55 the Football League First Division was the top tier of the English football league system. It remained so until 1992-93, the inauguration of the Premier League. Currently the division called League One is actually the third tiered competition after The Premiership and The Championship.
