Cheaper by the Dozen 2
Cheaper by the Dozen 2 is the sequel to the family comedy Cheaper by the Dozen (2003). The film is expected to be released in December 2005 by 20th Century Fox, who produced and distributed the first film.

Shawn Levy, the director of the first film, will not be returning for this sequel, which will instead be directed by Adam Shankman (The Pacifier) http://www.comingsoon.net/news/topnews.php?id=8714. Steve Martin, Bonnie Hunt and Hilary Duff Eugene Levy has signed on, and is set to play the patriarch of a rival family of eight children. Carmen Electra has also signed on for a role.

The film will not be following the storyline of the novel Belles on Their Toes, which was a sequel book to the original Cheaper by the Dozen novel. Both were written by Frank Bunker Gilbreth and Lillian Moller Gilbreth. Belles on Their Toes was made into a film in 1952 as a follow-up to the 1950 film version of Cheaper by the Dozen.

Filming in Toronto began on June 13, 2005, and is scheduled to finish on September 2 http://www.actratoronto.com/what/shooting.html. The July 2005 issue of People Magazine had the first picture preview of the film. One of the images featured Hilary Duff doing some kind of fishing off-shoot. The film will be released in theaters on December 21, 2005
