Charles Starrett

Charles Starrett (born March 28, 1903 in Athol, Massachusetts; died March 22, 1986 in Borrego Springs, California) who graduated from Worcester Academy in 1922, played the part of the 'Durango Kid' many years ago.

His sidekick in the 'Durango' movies was a character called 'Tex'. In many ways they were similar to 'The Lone Ranger and Tonto', as each hero wore a black mask and rode a white horse.
