Central Java
Central Java (Indonesian: Jawa Tengah) is a province of Indonesia. It lies on the island of Java, between the provinces of East Java and West Java. Its capital is Semarang. Historically and culturally, Yogyakarta is also a part of the Central Java region, but it is a separate political entity.
