Lion-hearted Ceferino was born, according to California State Athletic evidentiary records, 26 August, 1912. Family archives record the date of 26 August 1906, in the District of Tondo, Manilla, Phillippine Islands.

The Golden Key that opens the doors of the Palace of Eternity was placed in his hands / and heart / 1 January 1981. Rosary and Mass were held at St. Joseph's Cathedral in San Diego. Graveside services were held at Valhalla Memorial Park in North Hollywood, California, Monday, 5 January, 1981.
