Cedric Gibbons
Cedric Gibbons in Dublin, Ireland, (23 March 1893 - 26 July 1960 was the art director at MGM studios. He worked there for 32 years (1924-56) and his name is on nearly 1500 movies. He is also generally credited for designing the Oscars statue.
