CBE (AM)

CBE is the callsign of the CBC Radio One station in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.

CBE broadcasts at 1550 on the AM dial, and also reaches much of Western Ontario through a network of relay transmitters. The station first aired in 1935 as AM 600 CRCW, which broadcast until 1938. CBE was subsequently relaunched in 1950 on its present frequency.

CBE's local programs are Morning Watch in the morning, and Crosstown in the afternoon. However, most of the relay transmitters air CBLA's Ontario Morning in place of Morning Watch.
