~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ CBE broadcasts at 1550 on the AM dial, and also reaches much of Western Ontario through a network of relay transmitters. The station first aired in 1935 as AM 600 CRCW, which broadcast until 1938. CBE was subsequently relaunched in 1950 on its present frequency. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ CBE's local programs are Morning Watch in the morning, and Crosstown in the afternoon.
