Cave Creek Complex fire
The Cave Creek Complex fire was the second worst wildfire in the state of Arizona to date, the largest being the Rodeo-Chediski Fire. The fire started in June 21 2005 by a lightning stike from the raging monsoons and scorched 243,950 acres, making it the second largest wildfire in Arizona history.
