Cavatina is a song (actually an instrumental, originally written for piano but now best known as a classical guitar piece) by Stanley Myers most famous for its role as the theme from The Deer Hunter; ironically, the most famous individual recording of the piece is that of John Williams, divorced from the film which made it famous.
